Capsule Element Pressure Gauge

Boiler ventilation systems, gas pipelines, dust collection systems, and furnace draft monitoring require pressure measurements in kilopascals (kPa) or even hundreds of pascals. These are micro-pressures. Bourdon tube pressure gauges are designed for megapascal (MPa) ranges. They are too "blunt" for kPa measurements. They barely move in micro-pressure applications. Anhui Tiankang's capsule element pressure gauge (YE series) is specifically designed for micro-pressure and vacuum measurement. The core sensing element is a hollow capsule made from two corrugated metal diaphragms welded together.

When micro-pressure or vacuum enters the capsule interior, the capsule expands or contracts slightly. A precision link and gear mechanism amplify this tiny movement. The pointer then shows the pressure clearly on the dial. This structure makes the capsule element pressure gauge excel in kPa range measurements. It is the best choice for draft pressure and micro-pressure monitoring.

Capsule element pressure gauge material selection directly determines corrosion resistance. The standard type (YE) uses a tin bronze capsule and brass connection. This suits clean air and non-corrosive gases. It is the cost-effective choice for industrial boiler draft pressure monitoring. For sulfur-containing flue gas, mildly corrosive gases, or outdoor salt spray environments, we offer the stainless steel corrosion-proof type (YE-B/YE-BF). The capsule, connection, and housing upgrade to 304 or 316L stainless steel. Fluororubber seals add further protection. These models resist chemical exhaust, salt spray, and humid environments effectively.

Both the standard and stainless steel types are suitable only for dry, clean gas media. They cannot be used for liquids or gases with heavy dust content. Positive pressure ranges cover from 0-1.6kPa to 0-60kPa. Negative pressure (vacuum) ranges from -1.6-0kPa to -40-0kPa. Compound ranges cover from -0.8 to +0.8kPa through -20 to +20kPa.

For overpressure or vacuum alarms, the electrical contact capsule gauge (YEX) has adjustable contacts inside the dial. These contacts directly activate fans or audible alarms. The flameproof electrical contact type (YEX-B) serves flammable environments like gas distribution or paint shops. For vibrating fans or burners, the oil-filled vibration-resistant capsule gauge (YEN-B) effectively dampens pointer oscillation.

All products strictly follow GB/T 1226 and JB/T 10205 standards. φ100 and φ150 dials are standard configurations. Accuracy is 2.5% as standard. Export orders can be customized to 1.6% high-accuracy grade. Standard connection thread is M20×1.5. Export orders can be supplied with NPT1/4, NPT1/2, or G1/4 threads.

Each capsule element pressure gauge includes a factory inspection certificate. Export shipments include CE (PED+RoHS) certification, EN 837-3 standards compliance, and English DoC declarations of conformity.
