High-Pressure Temperature Measurement Without Shutdown

 

In thermal power plant main steam lines, high-pressure boiler drums, and hydrogenation reactors, temperatures often exceed 500°C. Pressures reach 30MPa. Shutting down these systems for maintenance costs millions of dollars per event. These "cannot stop, cannot measure wrongly, cannot replace easily" measurement points are exactly where Anhui Tiankang's thermowell thermocouple assembly and thermal sleeve thermocouple excel.

The product uses a double-layer removable design. A thick thermowell with no welded seams is permanently welded to the pipeline. This thermowell is formed through integral blind-hole forging. The temperature sensing element inserts into the thermowell and is pressed against the inner wall by a spring. The core value of this design is extreme maintenance convenience. When the element fails, there is no need to shut down the unit or cut welding pipes.

Thermowell thermocouple assembly and thermal sleeve thermocouple products allow the operator to simply loosen the junction box. The old element is pulled out from the thermowell. A new spare element is inserted. The entire replacement process takes just minutes. The pipeline medium never leaks during this operation. For large thermal power units or chemical plants that run continuously for hundreds of days, this feature directly translates into hundreds of thousands of dollars in maintenance cost savings.

Two Series for Different Applications

 

Our thermowell products come in two main series. The general-purpose type (01T series) suits small and medium boilers and auxiliary high-pressure pipelines. The power plant dedicated type (624/625 series) is designed for large thermal power main steam lines. The 624 series offers insulated construction. The 625 series provides grounded construction with faster response.

Technical specifications strictly follow domestic power plant industry standards. We also comply with EBASCO international power plant installation standards. The standard thermowell uses 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel. For high-temperature conditions, we upgrade to GH3030 nickel-based alloy. This material maintains stability under high-speed steam flow up to 100m/s.

Quality Testing and Export Support

 

Every product undergoes rigorous pressure resistance and material testing before shipment. For export projects, we provide material certificates according to ASTM A240. We also issue EN10204 3.1B material certificates. We recommend that customers order spare elements (WRN-01T or WZP-01T) together with the first purchase. Export shipments include complete English certificates, ISO17025 calibration reports, and CE/PED certification. We can arrange for engineers to visit overseas sites for installation guidance.
