Assembled thermocouples and assembled RTDs use rigid straight protection tubes. The standard diameter is φ16mm. These tubes cannot bend, but they offer much higher mechanical strength. Customers can choose from multiple tube materials. Options include 304, 316L, high-temperature 310S, GH3030, and alumina ceramic. These materials ensure stable performance under high temperatures, high pressure (up to 10MPa standard, 30MPa for thermowell type), and mildly corrosive media.

The response time for assembled units is slower than sheathed types. For a φ16 tube, T0.5 exceeds 40 seconds. However, for most fixed pipeline and furnace temperature monitoring applications, this response speed is perfectly adequate. The real advantage lies in cost-effectiveness. For the same measurement point, the purchase cost of an assembled unit is about 60% of a sheathed unit. This makes assembled products an excellent choice for large-scale projects where budget matters.
