Shielding Layer
Power cables rated at 15 kV and above generally feature both a conductor shielding layer and an insulation shielding layer.
Protective Layer
The function of the protective layer is to shield the power cable from the ingress of external impurities and moisture, as well as to prevent direct damage from external forces.
