Clean liquid flow measurement in oil, solvent, and alcohol applications demands exceptional accuracy. Even small measurement errors can cost significant money in trade settlements. Anhui Tiankang's stainless steel turbine flow meter (LW series) uses a high-precision multi-blade rotor inside the meter body. Fluid flowing through the pipe spins the rotor. The rotation speed is directly proportional to the volume flow rate. A magnetic induction coil outside the meter body converts rotor speed into pulse electrical signals. The signal processing circuit then outputs instantaneous flow and total accumulated volume.

The rotor responds to flow changes with remarkable speed. Accuracy reaches 0.2% or 0.5%. This precision far exceeds vortex or electromagnetic flow meters. The stainless steel turbine flow meter is the first choice for trade settlements involving oil products, solvents, and other clean liquids. The meter includes high-precision bearings inside. These bearings require very clean media. Solid particles or fibrous impurities will quickly wear the bearings and jam the rotor. An effective filter (typically better than 100μm) must be installed upstream.

Stainless steel turbine flow meter products come in two main branches based on the medium. The liquid turbine flow meter (LWGY) suits water, light oil, organic solvents, alcohol, and other clean liquids. The gas turbine flow meter (LWQ) serves compressed air, nitrogen, natural gas, and city gas. The rotor design, bearing materials, and meter body structure differ between these types. This accommodates the different density and viscosity characteristics of liquids and gases.

Flexible Configurations for Various Installations

 

The meter is available in integrated and remote configurations. The integrated type combines the sensor and display converter in one unit. This provides on-site direct reading. Wiring is simple. It suits standard installation environments. The remote type suits high-temperature media (converter located away from heat), buried installations, or hazardous area installations. For projects needing remote monitoring and system integration, the turbine flow meter includes pulse output (for totalization) and 4-20mA output (for instantaneous flow). RS485 Modbus communication is optional.
The stainless steel turbine flow meter has a robust construction. The meter body and internal components are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. This ensures long service life even with slightly corrosive clean liquids. The flameproof type (ExdⅡCT6) serves flammable environments like natural gas and oil and gas facilities. Power supply options include DC24V or internal battery power. The battery-powered version suits measurement points without external power access.

Factory Calibration and Export Documentation

 

All products strictly follow JB/T 9246 and JJG 1037 standards. Liquid meter diameters range from DN4 to DN200. Gas meter diameters range from DN25 to DN300. Pressure ratings are PN16/25/40. Export shipments include ANSI flanges. Each turbine flow meter undergoes actual flow calibration on standard flow calibration equipment. Every meter comes with a calibration certificate. Export shipments include CE certification and explosion-proof certificates.
